My name is Luiz de Aquino, I am from Rio, born and raised in Rio, and I graduated in Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Enthusiastic about the History of Brazil, I worked for 15 years as a book seller, before deciding that making a living from tourism would be the best way to combine my passion for my city with an exciting and challenging job!
At the 2016 Olympics, I was a driver-guide for the Bangladesh delegation and, since then, I have dedicated myself to historical and cultural tourism in Rio de Janeiro.

History on site in the center of Rio ❤️ Incredible tour for those who love Brazilian History
In addition to being a guide, he is a History professor and did exactly what I wanted: he showed us the historic center of Rio and guided us through the National Historical Museum, enchanting us, telling us details and curiosities.
Punctual, patient and friendly, he transmits security and knowledge from the first contact.
The experience was incredible and my whole family loved it, from children to the elderly 😅
